JOINT DATA CONTROLLERS

Co-processors of personal data are AIAF Associazione Italiana per l'Analisi Finanziaria and AIAF Formazione e Cultura S.r.l., with a registered office in Corso Magenta n. 56 - 20123, Milan.

AIAF Associazione Italiana per l'Analisi Finanziaria and AIAF Formazione e Cultura S.r.l. share the aims, methods and purposes of the processing of personal data. Therefore, a co-ownership agreement has been defined pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 26 of the GDPR 2016/679, which regulates obligations and responsibilities with regard to the processing of personal data in accordance with current legislation.

PERSONAL DATA BEING PROCESSED

Browsing data

The processing of personal data of users visiting and consulting the Site is limited to so-called browsing data, the transmission of which is necessary for the operation of the computer systems and programs required for the operation of the Site but which by their very nature, could, in association with other data, allow for the identification of users.

These include IP addresses or the names of the computers used by the users who connect to the Site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the computer platform used by the user.

 

Data provided voluntarily by the user

No registration is required to access the contents of the Site. However, there are services within the Site for the use of which it is necessary to provide personal data.

In particular, if the User decides to contact the Proprietors through the contact forms, personal data such as name and surname, e-mail address and any other information that the User agrees to provide may be requested.

If the User decides to contact the Proprietors by sending an email, the personal data transferred in this way will be stored and this data will be used exclusively for the purpose of processing the conversation.

 

Purchase Papers

Through the site it is possible to purchase AIAF Papers. In this case, the interested party must provide the data necessary for the provision of the service such as identification and contact details.

LEGAL BASIS AND PURPOSE OF PROCESSING

The information we collect is used for the following purposes:

  •  To derive statistical information on the use of the Site and to monitor its correct functioning.

  • To ascertain possible liability in case of commission of computer crimes.

The legal basis for processing for these purposes is the protection of a legitimate interest of the Data Controller, the fulfilment of legal obligations as well as for the execution of the contract with reference to the use of the Site, ensuring the User a better browsing experience.

  • Provide feedback and manage requests relating to the purchase of AIAF Papers.

The legal basis of the processing is the execution of pre-contractual and contractual measures connected to the provision of the services requested. There is no obligation to provide the personal data requested. The provision of data is, in fact, optional. However, refusal to provide the requested data will make it impossible to use the requested service (contacting the Owner, accessing specific contents, purchasing the Papers.

  • Marketing activities. We would like to keep you updated on the activities, events and training courses organised by AIAF, by sending you promotional communications through automated systems of e-mail, post and social networks.

The legal basis of the processing for such purposes is represented by your explicit consent. The provision of data for this purpose is optional and any refusal would not compromise the provision of services. We would also like to remind you that you may object to the processing at a later date and revoke the consent previously given for this purpose.

 

SUBJECTS TO WHOM PERSONAL DATA MAY BE DISCLOSED

  • Personal data collected through the site may be processed for the purposes indicated by:

  •  subjects acting as data processors such as, for example: persons, companies or professional firms providing assistance and consultancy; subjects carrying out further activities in outsourcing; subjects delegated to carry out services of a technical nature;

  • persons authorised by the Data Controller to process personal data for activities strictly related to the provision of services who have an appropriate legal obligation of confidentiality;

  • competent authorities in order to fulfil the obligations provided for by laws, regulations and national or European legislation or to enable the legal defence of the Data Controller, for example in the event of infringement of the network by users.

 

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

AIAF does not transfer personal data to third countries or international organisations. However, it reserves the possibility of using cloud services. In this case, the service providers will be selected from among those who provide adequate guarantees, as provided for in Article 46 GDPR 679/16.

 

STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

The personal data collected through the website or provided by the user will only be processed for the achievement of the specific purposes pursued from time to time; in any case, the criterion used to determine the storage period is based on compliance with the terms permitted by applicable laws and the principles of minimisation of processing and rational management of archives.

 

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

Pursuant to Articles 15-22 of EU REG 679/16, you have the right to:

  • access your data and receive a copy thereof;

  • obtain the rectification of your personal data and obtain the integration of any incomplete data; and

  • obtain the deletion of your personal data;

  • obtain the restriction of processing if certain conditions are met;

  • receive your data or have them transferred to another data controller, in a structured, commonly used and readable format if technically feasible;

  • object to the processing of your data on grounds relating to your particular situation;

  • not to be subjected to a fully automated decision-making process except where required by law.

Requests should be made in writing to the addresses indicated in the "Data Processors" section of this policy.

In any case, users always have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali), pursuant to Article 77 of the Regulation, if they believe that the processing of their data is contrary to the legislation in force.
